      1. Hi Karen, I figured it out I think.
You need to cast on a multiple of 6 stitches.
        1. Perl, knit till the end. Repeat four times. Because there are an even number of stitches, when you do the second row you will be perling a knit and knitting a perl stitch.
        then knit for six rows.

Repeat the above. Please let me know if this makes sense to you.

  2. I figured out the pattern by looking at the picture. multiple of 6 stitches. Knit 1 Purl 1 for 6 rows, Then knit 6 rows. Then go back to K1 P1etc.

  3. I love this above stitch “Rib and Garter Knitting Stitch”. I have seen and have many patterns but not this one. I live in the USA and I knit every evening for hours. Would you please send me written directions {not charted}? So, I could convert it to different items [dishcloths, blankets, lap throws, scarves, cowls and etc.]. I knit items for my church ~ I belong to a group there called “Knit, Crochet Give Away”. We are a small group but usually give away more than 5,000 items every year. {Yes, we give everything that we either knit or crochet free of charge.} Our items go all over the USA and world-wide. Our group supports the 10 different missions’ trips that our church travels to yearly.

Thank You very much in advance!!! You can email this pattern and any other knitted patterns that you may want to share with me to:

    PS: Where do you live?
