  1. Lovely pattern but for even rows I presume they are purled. You dont say. Could you let me know as I want to try this pattern

    1. Usually on the back you knit the knit stitches and purl the purls ie if it has a bump it’s a purl only on the right side are changes made so it should be fairly easy to follow pattern even given the one side to do
      Row 2
      *P2,K3,P7,K3,P1*

    2. Usually the alternate rows on the ‘wrong’ side are purled, which is mainly done in this pattern,
      However, to me,
the rows in the zigzags between the leaves look very close, more like the back of stockinette stitching.
I think the groups of ‘p3’ on the pattern row are actually knitted on the ‘wrong’ side, ie should be groups of ‘k3’ within the purled row.
It’s easy to tell which stitches they are.
I have knitted it this way, and it looks more like the photo. Also makes a nice flat zigzag contrast on the back.

    3. You’re assuming correctly, because when you look at the RS, sts that were knit on RS have become stockinette, & those that were purled on RS have become garter stitch. So each of them had to be purled on the WS.
