Lace Leaf and Cable Knitting Stitch.
Thank you so much to Rachel for figuring out the written pattern to this.
Every even row is the same as the preceding row (i.e. row 2 is the same as row 1) but with the purls and knits exchanged for each other (k1 becomes p1, p5 becomes k5, etc.).
Part B:
Row 1: p6, k2, p1, k6, p1, k2, p10, k2, p1, k6, p1, k2, p6 (46 sts)
Row 3: p1, k1, p5, k1, p1, k6, p1, k1, p5, k2, p5, k1, p1, k6, p1, k1, p5, k1, p1
Row 5: p1, L cable 1***, p6, R cable 6*, p6, R cable 1**, L cable 1***, p6, R cable 6*, p6, R cable 1**, p1
Row 7: p1, L cable 3****, p5, k6, p5, R cable 3*****, L cable 3****, p5, k6, p5, R cable 3*****, p1
Row 9: p2, L cable 3****, p4, k6, p4, R cable 3*****, p2, L cable 3****, p4, k6, p4, R cable 3*****, p2
Row 11: p3, L cable 3****, p3, R cable 6*, p3, R cable 3*****, p4, L cable 3****, p3, R cable 6*, p3, R cable 3*****, p3
Row 13: p4, L cable 3****, p2, k6, p2, R cable 3*****, p6, L cable 3****, p2, k6, p2, R cable 3*****, p4
Row 15: p5, L cable 3****, p1, k6, p1, R cable 3*****, p8, L cable 3****, p1, k6, p1, R cable 3*****, p5
Row 17: p6, k2, p1, R cable 6*, p1, k2, p10, k2, p1, R cable 6*, p1, k2, p6
Row 19: p7, k1, p1, k6, p1, k1, p12, k1, p1, k6, p1, k1, p7
Row 21: p9, k2tog, yo, k2tog, yo, ssk, p6, pfb, p7, pfb, p1, k2tog, yo, k2tog, yo, ssk, p9 (NOTE: the increases (pfb) in this row are not in the chart, but you need them to account for the extra k2togs on this row. Otherwise you end up with two fewer stitches than you started with)
Row 23: p8, k2tog (yes this should be eating up a purl stitch to the right), k1, yo, k1, yo, k1, ssk (this should also be eating up a purl stitch to the left), p16, k2tog, k1, yo, k1, yo, k1, ssk, p8
Row 25: p7, k2tog, k2, yo, k1, yo, k2, ssk, p14, k2tog, k2, yo, k1, yo, k2, ssk, p7

Row 29: p5, k2tog, k4, yo, k1, yo, k4, ssk, p10, k2tog, k4, yo, k1, yo, k4, ssk, p5

Row 39: p2, k1, k2tog, yo, s1, yo, ssk, k7, k2tog, yo, s1, yo, ssk, k1, p4, k1, k2tog, yo, s1, yo, ssk, k7, k2tog, yo, s1, yo*, ssk, k1 (*NOTE: I added an extra yo that’s not in the chart because I’m pretty sure it’s a mistake in the chart)
Row 41: p2, k2tog, yo, s3, yo, ssk, k5, k2tog, yo, s3, yo, ssk, p4, k2tog, yo, s3, yo, ssk, k5, k2tog, yo, s3, yo*, ssk, p2 (*NOTE: this yo is also not in the chart but I think it’s another mistake)
Row 43: s8, yo, ssk, k3, k2tog, yo, s16, yo, ssk, k3, k2tog, yo, s8
Row 45: s9, yo, ssk, k1, k2tog, yo, s18, yo, ssk, k1, k2tog, yo, s9
Row 47: s10, yo, cdd, yo, s20, yo, cdd, yo, s10
Row 49: s46
Row 51-53: k46
Row 55-61: as row 49
Row 63-65: as row 51
*R cable 6: s3 onto cable needle and hold to back of work, k3, k3 from cable needle
**R cable 1: s1 onto cable needle and hold to back of work, k1, k1 from cable needle
***L cable 1: s1 onto cable needle and hold in front of work, k1, k1 from cable needle
****L cable 3: s2 onto cable needle and hold in front of work, p1, k2 from cable needle
*****R cable 3: s1 onto cable needle and hold to back of work, k2, p1 from cable needle
Some notes:
-Ssks can be replaced with your favorite left-leaning decrease. I think the pattern might look better with something like skp instead of ssk
-I had to add a few stitches that weren’t in the chart to avoid losing stitches. There are also two missing yos in the chart that I noted.
-If your pattern doesn’t allow for slipping all the stitches the chart says to, garter stitch looks good as well. I used garter stitch on all the slipped stitches and it turned out great.
I suffered through figuring out this chart. Here’s the transcription for part B:
